Q: I try to turn the camera on and the light goes out and nothing happens.
A: Make sure you HOLD the button down for 3 seconds, then the camera will turn on.
Q: Why is there 2 end caps?
A: The end cap with the hole is a water resistant cap and can be used for firefighting. This lets the audio thru. The end cap that has no hole is the waterproof cap and can be used underwater to 33 ft. There is very little audio.
Q: What is the “handshake” and the “F” switch for on the back of the camera?
A: The “handshake” mode is for vehicle vibration and also makes the image more narrow. The “F” mode is for a firmware update and should be left in this position for the widest angle at 180 degrees FOV when mounted on the fire helmet.
